EBAday 2024 – Shaping the Future of Payment Transaction Data, together!
We were delighted to attend this year’s EBAday, which ran from 18-19 June in Lisbon, Portugal.
Now in its 19th year, the event brings together industry leaders and experts from around the world under one roof to discuss all things banking and payments. As always, the event was a great success full of exciting keynote speeches, panel discussions and networking events.
Several members of the Intix team attended the event, including Antoine Cuypers our Director, Strategic Alliances & Key Accounts, who was a guest panellist on the main stage entitled “New Regulations – New Opportunities” together with representatives of some of the biggest names in banking such as JP Morgan and Barclays.
Additionally, Antoine presented on the Fintech Talk Stage for a session entitled “Instant Analytics, Endless Opportunities: Your Approach to Transaction Data” alongside Guy Moons, Product Specialist at FIS, one of the world’s leading providers of financial services technology.
Antoine and Guy both shared insights into the most important innovations and developments emerging from the world of transaction data. Of course, this is not the first time that Intix and FIS have joined forces. Last year, we announced a strategic partnership with the global fintech leader as part of its push to provide banks with new and advanced data accessibility features.
With our support, FIS clients around the world are now benefiting from greater capability, control and visibility over their payment flows. During their joint panel, Antoine and Guy touched upon this topic and discussed how unique and powerful solutions like Intix are enabling companies like FIS to enhance service offerings for clients, facilitating greater access and analysis of transaction data in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Events like EBAday are essential because they provide an arena for important conversations like this to happen. We were delighted to connect with so many like-minded professionals at the event and to see first-hand the commitment shared by those in our industry to leverage data more effectively than it is currently being used. Now, we’re looking forward to building upon these new connections and to further empowering the broader finance and fintech sectors to respond better to modern data-related demands.
