Michel Akkermans
Michel is a serial entrepreneur, private investor, advisor and board member, serving on the boards of public and private companies and private equity funds. Michel joined the Intix Board in December 2015.
He was co-founder, chairman and CEO of Clear2Pay, a payments technology company, before it was acquired by FIS (Nasdaq: FIS) in 2014. Before Clear2Pay, Michel was founder, CEO and chairman of FICS, a fintech company which merged in 1999 with Security First Technologies, creating S1 Corporation (Nasdaq: SONE), with Michel as its chairman.
Michel holds a M.Sc. in electronic engineering and computer sciences and a degree in economics and finance from the University of Leuven in Belgium.
Warren Gardiner
Warren joined the Intix Board in December 2015. Warren Gardiner has a wealth of experience in banking transaction technologies. Warren has a track record in companies like Siena (Founder), Clear2Pay (Chief Product & Strategy) and led the integration of Clear2Pay’s payment hub technology into FIS.
Due to his creative mindset in applications of hub technology and his deep subject matter expertise of global transaction banking, Warren is to this very day involved in major transformation projects around the world.
